I’ve been feeling so tired recently, but it took me a while to realise the cause was lack of quality sleep. Our old bed had seen better days and needed replacing, so I decided to make it my mission to do so. I’d always been impressed by the TV ads for Tempur beds and mattresses. It’s very clever technology, designed in the 70’s by the NASA space programme.
That, I decided, what just what I needed, because our mattress couldn’t shape itself to a sack of rocks! Still, I didn’t imagine it would be as easy as it was to find a specialist online, but T. J. I would have been happy with just a new mattress, but the beds were so beautiful – I couldn’t wait to see my whole bedroom transformed. You could choose from sumptuously upholstered frames with matching headboards which looked very romantic, or more contemporary wooden frames in a choice of beech or wenge finishes. We thought a beech finish with a contrasting dark leather headboard would make quite a design statement in our room.
However, we went for this one called Toscana, which was an adjustable divan with an ultra-modern Italian look to it. It comes in a range of sizes and depths so we could choose to suit our individual needs. We had already decided on having separate adjustable mattresses, which, for us seemed like a good idea as we do have different sleeping preferences.
I’m as excited about delivery as I am about removing myself from the awesome statistics of UK back-pain sufferers. Apparently 80% of the population are affected at some point in their lives, especially in the 35-55 age range. I also can’t wait to throw out my old mattress as this was certainly not doing me any favours. I’m glad we found that website and will probably end up campaigning about it and our new Tempur bed to all our friends.
